Your fave beauty advice?

Is there a personal make-up, hair, style or other beauty-related discoveries that you would like to share? Or tips that have worked?

My fave is a personal discovery about hair:

If you want a nice curly/crimped hair look, braid your hair when its damp into 2-5 sections/pieces and open your hair when its dryYour fave beauty advice?
Wash your face with noxema cold creamYour fave beauty advice?
Curling your eyelashes with an eyelash curler (Shu Uemura is the best) really opens up your eyes.

Wearing heels with a more pointed, refined toe elongates the length of your legs.

A V-neck top/sweater lengthens a short neck.

You really do need beauty sleep - 8 hours is optimal.

Boot-cut jeans in a dark wash and a medium rise balance your body.

Clothes do have an expiration date - if you haven't worn an item in a year's time, either throw it out, consign it, or give it to charity (depending on its condition).
Always wash off your make up before you go to bed.
face paint can make you break out
For those of you with straight hard to curl lashes, try this: Blow your hairdryer over the eyelash curler for a few seconds to heat it up before using. Curl lashes (be careful--don't make it so hot that you burn yourself!) and then set with clear or regular mascara. This makes all the difference and for me, is the ONLY way my lashes stay curled for even a few hours.
With makeup, less really is more. Just a little cover-up around the eyes and nose, and some mascara and you're good to go. You don't look made-up, but you look good.
About makeup ; If your eyeliner is getting a bit dry , put it into the refrigerator for a while and you will find it easily to use. The same thing if you want your nail polish to dry faster.

Style: Try to find big safety pin in some yarn shop or similar, you can use it as a brosch or fix it on a scarf, it will look cool. Still It's all about your style.

Hair: Soaked walnuts are good to eat for hair health and color.

Unfortunately I can't think of something more :)
less is more / as far as makeup or cosmetics less is more !!! natural beauty is much better than over done makeup
Put hemroid cream on your puffy tired eyes and it shrinks down.

Put petro jelly on your teeth and your teeth will sprakle!
A really awesome way to exfoliate face and body is to use baking soda. A great dermatologist gave me this ';secret'; years ago and it's amazing. It's granules are very small and non-abrasive, rinses well and it does a great job. You can keep it in a shaker in your bath/shower and sprinkle about a 1/2 tsp into your favourite cleanser, mix and use as you would normally. Your face will feel like velvet and won't be irritated. It's also wonderful for those little white bumps on the arms. AND IT'S CHEAP :)
my favorite is that for makeup keep it simple!!! i love that!! and i only know that rule lol!!!:D
If something doesn't fit don't wear it, no matter how cute it is.

The natural look is always best when it comes to makeup.

Don't wear too small shoes or you will get blisters. And believe me that hurts.

Eyeliner smudges easily, so buy a better brand even though it may be expensive, same goes for foundation-cheap foundation gives you zits!!!!!
cool !!!! thanx .
