Best way to get beauty advice?

I am wondering how I can get the best beauty advice, from products to application tips. any way I can get for advice is greatBest way to get beauty advice?
sephora.com (you can email a consultant or look around and find tips.)

covergirl.com (you can chat with a live consultant)

maccosmetics.com (again you can chat with consultants or email one)

allure.com has how to guides and forums that you can post question

Department stores or sephora (the people usually can help you find products that they sell that will work) and if you go to a mac counter or somewhere they can put it on you.

The following books:

Bobbi Brown (there are many that all work)

Beauty Buyble (this one mostly gives information on the products but helps in application too)

The make-up book (has pictures to help with application

5-minute face (This one has great tips on application and what kind of products to get, but at the end gives you a product shopping guide)

Confessions of a beauty editor (written by the editor of allure it is really helpful)

And some magazines:

Allure (basically all beauty things in it that are amazing)

Seventeen (has beauty section that works really well)

Sephora Catalogs (although it is a catalog they have some great tips as well)

Instyle (has a helpful beauty section)

Also, if you need any more help feel free to email me!

NOTE: When getting help from someone working at sephora or a department store keep in mind that they MAY be wrong and if you honestly think that the product they are trying to give you isn't right for you, don't buy it!

BECAUSE: Once I was looking for a foundation and this lady there asked what shade I was looking for i told her I was looking for shade 1 or 2 and the lady says no.no use 5 you have yellow skin tone, I soon found out that getting the foundation in that shade was a horrible mistake it looked really far off!Best way to get beauty advice?

www.videojug.com

This website has a wide range of tips from make-up to hair, etc.

Also, other from the net, read beauty magazines and probably note down those small snippets of advice.

Make-up stylists I've met are usually more than happy to impart some knowledge. Just be friendly and tell them you're new to this and have more to learn. :)

Lastly, EXPERIMENT! :D:D You'd never know what works for you till you've tried.

Good luck!
my email is debjb73@Yahoo.com just email me with your Q and I'll send u my A.
