Hey girls, can I have some beauty advice?

Have any of you ever had a bikini wax or what they call a brazilian wax? I am thinking about doing that but I'm afraid it will hurt like hell! I have no idea what they do or how you do it. I have to shave and everything. I'm tired of doing that. Is it worth it or just too damn painful. What should I do?Hey girls, can I have some beauty advice?
The most important part of a brazilian or bikini wax is your esthetician. I'd probably still be suffering with shaving if I hadn't found my girl! They should make you feel comfortable and offer advice and tips for when you leave. They should be aware of your skin type (sensitive, dry, oily) so that they can choose wax accordingly. Call around and see if you can meet a waxer before you set up the appointment. You can find out how much schooling they've had and what kind of certificates they have (if any). Feel free to make a few consultation visits with different waxers until you find one you like.

Once you've set your appointment, if you're nervous beforehand, you can apply a topical anesthetic and take an aspirin (DON'T DRINK for 24 hours beforehand! It makes it more painful!) to ease the pain a little. Remember to stay relaxed during the process because the more nervous you are, the more painful it can be. Talk to your waxer about something other than what is happening or ask her to explain everything that she's doing, whatever makes you more comfortable.

At the end, be sure to rub every waxed area with a bit of oil, which she should provide, so that you can clean any additional wax off later and so that your skin won't stick. If any wax gets on your clothes, it can ruin them so consider wearing your not-so-favorite pair of underwear and a pair of sweatpants to your first appointment. You can start with just a bikini wax and work your way up to a brazilian or just dive headfirst into a brazilian. Try not to choose a difficult design, if you'd like one, for your first session and stick to something more simple until you either decide to continue waxing or have waxed a few times. Good luck!Hey girls, can I have some beauty advice?
It hurts but the more you do it the more you get used to the pain. FYI if you do it yourself, hurts a lot more. It's worth it because you don't get that itchy feeling when it grows back and if you want to, you can it waxed into different shapes.
Save your money and get it lasered. I did and it was worth it. Whenever I waxed, I got lots of red spots and ingrown hairs, but my best friend gets brazillians and she loves it.
I was reading in a magizine and it said it feels like a hard slap. But I think it's worth it when you really think about it.
Well... It doesn't hurt as much as you would think... and BOY is it WORTH IT!!!!!!

They give you a little loincloth thing to wear so its not TOO embarrassing.. you should definitly do it and face your fears!!
